How do I track my parcel?

After you’ve ordered items online, you’ll want to know when they will arrive at your door. So, how do you track your parcel, and what factors need to be considered in the process?

The next steps after making your order

Once you’ve made an order, you’ll be notified by the sender, explaining that your parcel has been dispatched. It can take a few days for us to receive the parcel, so if there’s no tracking information available, this just means we’re waiting to receive it. To find out where it is and when it’ll reach us, you’ll need to contact the sender directly.

When we’ve received your parcel from the sender, we’ll deliver your item within the agreed time. The delivery period will depend on the service chosen by the sender, which is typically between 1-3 days.

Tracking your parcel with Evri

With Evri, you can track a parcel using your 16-digit tracking number, which is the barcode number. You’ll have been given this tracking number when you booked your order. Or, if you’re receiving a parcel, the sender should be able to give this to you.

If your courier has already attempted to deliver your parcel, you should’ve received a calling card with an eight-digit number printed on it, and you can use this to track your parcel instead.

How to track your ParcelShop delivery

For ParcelShop deliveries, when your parcel is marked “on its way”, this means it’s making its way through our depots to your local ParcelShop. You’ll then receive a text message or email when your parcel’s ready to collect.

You’ll need the confirmation email or text from the sender - if you have one, when collecting your parcel. You’ll also need personal identification (like a driving licence) or a PIN - just bear in mind the PIN will be sent in a separate email from your sender.

How to track your Locker delivery

Awaiting a delivery to one of our automated parcel Lockers? We’ll keep you updated on Its whereabouts over email. Then, once it’s arrived, and it’s ready to collect, you can pick up your new items – it’s that easy.

If you end up waiting over 7 days for your parcel to arrive, you’ll need to notify the sender. They’ll then contact us, and we can look into its journey in more detail.

What happens on the day of my scheduled delivery?

The retailer you’ve ordered from should update you with an email on the day of your delivery, telling you the delivery time slot. This email will also contain a link that lets you track your parcel’s progress, so you can keep an eye on its whereabouts at all times!

Your courier will then try to deliver your parcel. If the attempted delivery was unsuccessful, the courier will post leave a card to which states when they’re making their next delivery attempt. The card should also reference an eight-digit number, which you can use to track your parcel.

If you know you won’t be in for the next delivery attempt, don’t worry; you can divert your parcel at any point in the delivery journey.

How to track your parcel once it’s been delivered

After you receive a notification saying your parcel has arrived, we can provide the following:

  • A photo and map of where your parcel was delivered to.
  • The name and signature of the person who made the delivery.

Depending on the retailer you’ve ordered from, you may get an email when your parcel has been delivered. This will show all of the above information with a link to the tracking information. Then, you can locate your parcel and excitedly open it up – it’s that simple.
