- Charity bike ride
Eight Hermes employees have raised over £2,500 completing a 105 mile bike ride for charity. The team rode from our Warrington hub to Nuneaton over two days with aim of raising as much money as possible for Cancer Research and Centrepoint charities.
On day one, the team started their journey at our Warrington hub, finishing the 55 mile journey at Stafford later that evening. The team then completed their 50 mile journey on day two from Stafford to Nuneaton, arriving at 16.00 to a warm welcome from supporting friends and family as well as a massive sense of achievement.
Steven Byrne, team organiser and cyclist “The teamwork and camaraderie was absolutely fantastic, and it was that which kept us going. I for one believe that if I didn’t have everyone around me, I would have given up long before we got to Nuneaton.”
A huge well done to all those involved; Steve Byrne, Martin Colloff, Candice Ohandjanian, Michele Kinder, Richard Haddock, Lukasz Ciacia, Peter Allen, Rob Gwynn, Stuart Green (support driver) and Lee Welch (support driver). We’re very proud of your huge achievement and congratulations on raising so much money for such great causes.
